So this blog is overwhelming me now that I have too many stories to sit and type. Most will have to wait until they come up one day. My brain is full of new thoughts and my skin is constantly being reinhabited by changes.
I am in Uganda right now with Sarah Nicolai and I just spent 2 days at Ssese Islands with Bryce and Lynda. We really had adventures. Now me and Sarah are in a super-rad hostel in Kampala deciding what to do for the day..... so many options! I think tomorrow I am going to bungee jump at the Nile. How could I not? It is so good and surreal to be with my beloved and like-minded friends in this land. It's also good to be with Lynda and constatly laugh until I nearly pee my pants. We had a moment after we first met up when we were riding in the back of a taxi through Kampala and singing along with the braidy-bunch-like mix of gospel hymns. We looked at each other rocking in our seats, happily singing along with the upbeat version of "How Great Thou Art" and went hysterical at the absurdity.
We already approaching the one-month-left mark. ahh! I am well and "very much around" (common phrase here) East Africa and being scared by how much I love it and the responsibility that might come with it.
Anyway, Sarah and I are off from this hostel and we'll see Bryce and Lynda again tonight for a little while. I WILL post some pictures sometime soon so please don't give up on this blog yet. :)

Hey Justine sure enjoyed your blog
and sharing the matuto from Kisumu to Bosia. Sorry we couldn't connect before I left Kisumu to do some travelling to Maasia Mara and now Naivashu. Will go to Eldoret and then take the 2 day bus trip to Zanzibar and various islands on the coast. But getting back to Uganda. Aren't those motorcycle/motorbike boda bodas in Kampala a real rush! I got a bigger rush riding those in rush hour in the rain or at night than whitewater rafting. It's dangerous as heck but its a lot cheaper excitment. But I also like Jinja as its a cool place to hang out especially at the camps by the Nile. Great meeting u and maybe our paths will cross sometime.
